Bench Dip Exercises - Health & Fitness

Bench Dip Exercises - Health & Fitness

I'll be demonstrating a bench dip which is really great for developing the triceps and the shoulders. The very first thing you want to do when doing a bench dip is make sure that you get a very firm grip on the side of the bench and you also want to make sure the bench doesn't tip over. I want you to lock you feet out in front of you, you want to maintain a slight bend in the knee, keep your back extremely close to the bench and then bend at the elbow. You're going to go down until you feel a nice stretch in the triceps and then back up and get a nice squeeze at the top. You want to make sure that when you go down you don't over emphasize the stretch on the shoulder; this could be potentially harmful to your shoulders. I'll give you an example of a few bench dips.
