Coleus a la mode

aranjamentUse your imagination when planting pot flowers also, not just when you design your garden. If you have to took out the old plants that were in need of more root space or divide other plants, it is a good moment to create a special combination of plants for your house. Choose a large, interesting terra cotta container; it doesn't matter it has peeled off some of it's paint.

Now you have to select the plants. Crosus and Bacopa were used in this pot. Solenostemon 'Felix' is a dark coleus growing on the left and Solenostemon 'Gold Giant' is the one on the right. Bacopa 'Gold n' Pearls', a vigurous and versatile 'living carpet' grows at their feet.

One more important thing! Each time you want to try your skills in this kind of flower arrangements don't forget that the plants you choose must have the same light, soil and watering needs.
