Ingredients:
3 c. sliced onions
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. paprika
Cook onions sprinkled with paprika in a skillet with butter covered until light brown. Remove to another cooking pan.
Mix:
2 eggs lightly beaten
1/3 c. bread crumbs
2 tbsp. catsup
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. celery salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 c. water
Form into balls 1 inch in diameter and dust with flour. Add 2 tablespoons butter to same skillet onions were cooked in and brown meat balls on all sides. Remove balls to same pan with onions and brown 2 tablespoons flour in drippings and gradually add 3 cups mixed vegetable juice. Cook until thick and smooth, pour over meat balls and onions, cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
