Michelle's Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients:

• 10-20 Large Mushrooms
• Garlic Powder (to taste)
• Pepper (to taste)
• 4-6 strips of Bacon, cooked and crumbled
• 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
• 1 tsp Worchestershire sauce
• 1 small onion, finely chopped
• 1 8 oz. cream cheese
• Butter, melted
• Parmesan Cheese

Method:

Remove and chop stems. Save caps. Dip caps in melted butter and place on a baking sheet. Saute mushrooms stems and onions in more butter. Mix cheeses (cheddar & cream cheese), seasonings, Worcestershire, onion, mushroom stems, & bacon. Fill caps; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes or until cream cheese is softened.

Notes:
Don't overstuff, but do be generous with the filling. If you do not like bacon, crabmeat can be substituted. Whenever I have a party, I make these. Also, they go over wonderful at church gatherings, because you can make them before and pop them in the church oven for 15 minutes.

Number of servings: Depends on crowd. I usually double for a party and they are still gone within minutes.
