Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter
2 cups onions, diced
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 cans (14.5 oz each) Beef Broth
1/2 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
4 slices French bread, toasted
Preparation:
Place butter in medium saucepan; melt over high heat (do not burn butter). Add onions and garlic; sauté until tender and beginning to brown, stirring occasionally (4-5 minutes). Add broth and bring to a gentle boil. Place soup in individual serving crocks. Top with bread crouton and mixed shredded cheese. Place crocks under broiler until cheese is golden brown.
